Neysa Meyer

Neysa Meyer

Executive Director

Neysa Meyer leads the Putnam County Community Foundation with a focus on thoughtful stewardship, strategic vision, and community impact. She works closely with PCCF’s Board to guide the Community Foundation’s direction while supporting the philanthropic goals of donors across Putnam County.

Originally from Avon, Indiana, Neysa earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Indianapolis and completed graduate studies at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis.…more She began her career abroad with the United States Peace Corps, an experience that sparked her lifelong commitment to service, and later continued her nonprofit work with an international service organization. She joined PCCF in 2018.

Neysa is actively involved in the community, serving on the boards of the Putnam County Chamber and the Indiana Philanthropy Alliance. She and her husband, Adam, live just outside Greencastle with their daughter, Charlee, and enjoy staying connected to the community they serve.

Dean Gambill

Community Development Director

Dean Gambill leads PCCF’s scholarship programs and builds meaningful relationships with donors, helping connect generosity with opportunity. Since joining the Community Foundation in 2011, he has played a key role in supporting students and strengthening community ties.

Dean earned his undergraduate degree from Lincoln Christian College and pursued graduate studies at Lincoln Christian Seminary. His background includes pastoral and nonprofit leadership …more roles in Southern California as well as in Newburgh and Terre Haute, Indiana. A lifelong baseball enthusiast, Dean played competitively for many years and later coached at his alma mater.

Outside the office, Dean serves as an Elder at Greencastle Christian Church and is a member of the local Kiwanis Club. He enjoys home improvement projects, sports, and spending time with his wife, two daughters, and growing family. Known for his collection of trivia and fun facts, Dean brings curiosity, humor, and a genuine love of people to everything he does—because he believes everyone has a story worth hearing.

Jenny Neureiter

Director of Donor and Grantee Services

Jenny Neureiter oversees PCCF’s grantmaking efforts, working closely with nonprofit partners and donors to ensure a thoughtful, impactful, and positive experience. She brings a collaborative spirit and deep community knowledge to her role, helping ideas turn into meaningful action.

Before joining PCCF, Jenny spent 19 years as an educator, most recently at Bainbridge Elementary School. A graduate of Purdue University, she carries her passion for learning, creativity, and …more encouragement into her work every day.

Jenny values kindness, connection, and family. She enjoys cheering on the Boilermakers with her son, Brayden, volunteering at church, and spending time outdoors with her dog, Smokey. Whether she’s exploring a new local activity or enjoying live music with friends, Jenny is always looking for ways to stay engaged in the community. She believes in loving loudly and showing up for others with energy, compassion, and heart.

Julie Thompson manages PCCF’s financial operations, ensuring strong stewardship of assets while supporting the organization’s mission with precision and care. Alongside her financial expertise, she brings attention to detail and a passion for serving others to the PCCF team.

Julie is deeply engaged in the community, including founding 100 Women Who Care of Putnam County. In her free time, she enjoys walking, boutique shopping, reading, and spending time with friends and family. Guided by faith, curiosity, and a strong work ethic, Julie is always eager to learn and contribute wherever she can.

Sarah Stone

Sarah Stone leads PCCF’s marketing, communications, and special events, sharing the stories that connect generosity to impact. She also manages the Youth Philanthropy Initiative, helping the next generation engage in meaningful giving and community leadership.

A graduate of Indiana University, Sarah brings more than a decade of nonprofit communications experience to her role. She is actively involved in the community, serving on the board of the Greencastle Rotary Club and supporting several other nonprofit efforts. …more

Sarah lives in Cloverdale with her husband and young son. Outside of work, she is a voracious reader, an occasional sports fan, and an enthusiastic singer. A lover of words, she’s always happy to take on an editing project and dreams of one day becoming a novelist or book editor.
