Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship
The Putnam County Community Foundation proudly administers the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship in Putnam County to help students pursue a higher education without the barriers of cost. The scholarship provides full four-year tuition and includes up to $900 per year for required books and equipment for four years of undergraduate study on a full-time basis, leading to a baccalaureate degree at any Indiana public or private college or university accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges.
Since 1998, more than 45 Putnam County students have received the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship.
Scholarship Dates
The 2026 Putnam County Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship application is now closed. Applications for the 2027 scholarship will open in August 2026.
Eligibility
- Be a high school senior on track to graduate from a regionally accredited Indiana high school by June 30, 2026.
- Be a current resident of Putnam County, Indiana, and have lived in Putnam County since August 2024.
- Have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.8, pursuing an Academic Honors Diploma, and have a combined minimum SAT score of 1120 or an ACT score of 25.
- Meet requirements for college admission and intend to pursue a baccalaureate degree beginning in the fall of 2026 on a full-time basis at any Indiana college or university accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
